Schlöben is a small quiet Bio-Energy village in the Saale-Holzland-Kreis between Stadtroda and the university city Jena at the foot of the Thuringian forest. Schöblen can be comfortably reached by bus, train or car. The Saale-Holzland-Kreis offers over 16 nature reserves, 24 protected landscape locations, 15 flora-fauna habitats and 55 natural as well as 95 conservation area monuments.
